Through His Eyes

You should have seen how gorgeous you looked, bated in a soft moonlight glow, the silent waves gently laping against your frail body.

If I could only paint you a picture, you would just love it. And even though you screamed and begged me to stop, I know how much you would have wanted this.

Oh, you should have seen how peaceful you looked with a faint smile on your precious face, and those hazel eyes - shut to the world.

Don't worry. I stayed with you for hours, through the night. (I remembered how much you hated the dark) I sat on the shore, close enough that the water could touch my feet, until I could see the warm pastel colors of the sunrise.

The water seened so inviting as if it was washing your soul, cleansing your mind and body. How I wished I could run out into the water, under a milky white moon and redeem myself. I'm disillusioned however. I understand I will get no forgiveness, nor do I deserve it. I'm not sure if I even want it. I don't deserve to have my soul saved, not after I rid the world of such beauty.

Sad to think that it was your beauty that brought you death, had you been less radiant I wouldn't have been drawn to you. And there you lied, quietly afloat in the endless ocean, the water will keep you safe. No more pain, believe me...I only wanted the best for you.

------- Author's Notes -------

Something I had to do for a class...its not finished.
It was meant to be a character letter. We had to come up with some character and they had to write a letter to someone, but in this letter it kinda had to tell how they were...if that makes sense.
