Mothers Day is approaching again,
it's not the same without you here.
I feel this deep sadness engulfing me again,
this time, this year.

Mothers Day means many things as I'm a mother too.
A part of me is happy because of my daughter,
the other part sad without you.

I remember so many years ago you lost a son on this day.
How hard it must have been on you,
remembering this on Mothers Day.

I still find myself forgetting
and wanting to buy a card and gift for you.
Then reality settles in that your'e gone,
leaving me so sad and blue.

I'm very thankful you were my mother,
you'll live forever in my heart.

Dear Mother I love you forever,
in my heart you'll be a part.
I know you're always with me,
your memories will never fade inside.
But Mother it hasn't been easy,
I miss you so deeply since you've died.

Happy Mothers Day,
I miss and love you,
I will for eternity.
You'll always be my mother,
forever a part of me.
