The Child Within
Deep within each of us is a child needing love and to be protected.
Yet so much of our lives we have been unloved and neglected.
Each of us are hurting and searching for the truth.
So much un- needed baggage we've carried from our youth.
We're no longer children, we're women and we're men.
No matter what our age is, there's a child within
