Our Mother's Love Lives On

I know how hard it's been on you since your mother passed away.
I've lost my mother too and live with her loss each day.
Mothers have a special place in our hearts that just can't be erased.
A mothers love is something also that can't ever be replaced.
Their the ones who nurtured us and raised us in such loving care.
Mothers just have that special touch that nothing can compare.
Our mothers are now watching over us, their both in Heaven above.
One thing we can always be sure of, is our mothers lasting love.
It isn't going to be easy now, their in a different place.
But what should comfort us the most, is they've seen his loving face.
Our mothers love lives on in the ones who love and treasure their memory.
Our mothers will always be a part of us, a part in you and me.

comforting

your choice of words were very illuminating...i found comfort in your poem...no matter when our loss is ,it is a forever thing..when soothing words like yours cross our path it makes the transition a bit brief... and more accepting... thanks for such an excellent form of art...i enjoy reading poems that come to life..the ones you can feel... your poem would definintly make the poem book on the site i post my poems on ........
