I Need You

Please take this fear inside me and guide me to the truth.
Erasing my inadaquacies I've had since early youth.
I've been so lost in this world, not knowing who to be.
I'm looking deep inside myself not knowing the real me.
I know I have a purpose, and I'll need you along the way.
Please help me when I'm on my knees and teach me how to pray.
Tell me what it is I now need to do.
My life means nothing anymore unless it is for you.
I'll need your hand to guide me and your love to see me through.
I'm leaving the old me behind now, my life is now brand new.
Forgive me for turning my back on you and living a total lie.
It's you I long to be with, to be with when I die
