I broke down to my knees
I poured out my heart
as I shared all that troubled me

with his hands extended wide
he took me aside
and said child

cry until your pain subsides
your tears will wash away
every thing that binds you
I carry you as I carried my cross

never fear me going away
it is you that I worry about
I know you believe you are not strong
but your strength is there
close your eyes and let it rise
dig deep until it hurts
by then you know you are alive
the hurt is only a prick
keep my words in your heart
believe with all your might
that all will come to pass

get down on your knees
pray to me from your humble heart
allow my spirit to come alive within your soul
give me a chance to come unto you
for it was not I whom abandoned you

you my child drifted away
I was still there
waiting patiently
for you to turn back
I waited for you to open your heart
and come back towards the peaceful light
sometimes we can not do things on our own
in this life one can not afford
to have too much pride

we must learn to seek
we must learn to knock
we must learn to ask..
we must learn to claim our reward
be it big be it small
but we must also know when to speak

we can never do it alone
i provide the way
you provide the time
together by the end of the night
all will be fine
just keep your faith
there are still so many things undone..
learn to ask not just for someone else
but also for yourself
you too deserve to receive my rewards
start right now
by opening your heart
start knocking at my door
and ask for my help
seek for my shelter

you too are a child of mine...

so i stood up took control
wiped these tears from my eyes

i kneeled back down and i prayed
and i mean i prayed
my tears started rolling down my cheeks
but i prayed
i prayed deep...
i thanked him
for all he had given me
and he answered me
when the last tear fell from my eye
