Memories Of Love Never Fade Away...
2 February, 2005

I wrote you a letter
stating we were through

I wrote you a letter saying
I've gotten over you

I misplaced that letter
but I found it today

after I re-read it I realized
all the words were so untrue

just because you died
doesn't mean you’re the reason I cried

nor that my love died too
I'll never get over you

I tore that letter apart
and wrote another one from my heart

the more I miss you the more I cried
instead of allowing my emotions to hide

I allowed my heart to say
I love you more today

I dried each tear drop
before I walked away
promising to return
another day
