It’s bee so long since I have seen you.
Why did you go?

What did I say?
I’ll take it back this very second.

What did I do?
I’ll never do it again!

Why is it so hard for you to love me?
Please come back?

I loved you with everything I had inside me.
I gave you my heart.

You gave me yours when it was convenient.

I still dream about you, ya know?
In my dreams I still love you.

My subconscious doesn’t remember what you did to me
It still is in denial.

I am not however.
I remember it all.

I remember your voice as you told me that you didn’t love me anymore.
I remember your fake tears as you told me how sad you were.

I remember how you would call me from time to time.
To make sure I was still hanging on to you.

I remember every excuse you gave me about how we couldn’t be together.
I remember how hollow your “sorry’s” were.

And I just remembered something else….
I’m better off without you.
