I Await For Someone Like You...

Valemtines day is near
and how I wish my true love was here
I sit and wait for him to arrive
I know him not
but I feel him so close
I know he is here
I feel his touch in my heart
if he doesn't show up
I will come back next year
and await for him to appear
I await to communicate and share
conversation and possibly present him
with all the love I saved
and carry with in my own Heart
will become his for eternity
I know he is someone gentle, some one true
someone wise, someone mature,
someone with a great sense of humor
I pray he is someone just like you
i feel the gentlness of his breath above mine
i feel the love of his soul around mine
i feel the sincerity in his heart within mine
can you feel it too??
the heart of my rose I offer to this one man
I know heaven hears my prayers
and will send this special soul that understands
I am patient I will wait
for I know God has to sort through the best
I keep my fate based on this feeling
if my heart does not appear today
my love continues to build up stronger alomg the way
cause of the love I know will come my way as God looks out for me
he will appear to me
I feel his love so close by
I know not whom he is
I want to say to this man
I feel within my heart
thank you for instilling
such a wonderful feeling in my soul
I hope your heart feels as alive
as you have made mine

written Valentines Day 2004...i felt the love of some one i didn't know...some one special asked me if i could write a valentines day poem from my heart..i wrote this after he asked..he became my Valentine :) |
