I came to work on a freezing morning, had my heater on High
Damn, that was a freezing morning, I started up my car, grind, grind,
Then finally, the engine, began to roar, it was so cold. Not like
When I woke up, a warm blanket covered me, during, the night

It was slip and slide, all the way to work, but I made it, no dents at all
I parked my car, where I always do, and as I got out, turned, my theft, alarm on
I heard the beep, you are safe and warm, no one will steal your car
Then, I walked toward my office door and as I often do, I looked around

I saw, this old office chair, tossed beside my office dipsey dumpster
Thought, I heard a sound, as I looked, I saw a “dog,” laying, on the chair
As I went over, I could see this “Dog,” was frozen to the bone, but, Then
I heard, a little cry, more like a wine, beneath, this frozen “Dog.”

I used, my umbrella, to raise the frozen “dog,” up and then I saw
Four little puppies, & they began to cry, like, thank God, I’m so hungry
I took the puppies in my arms, set them down on my carpet, in my conference Room, and went to the Texaco, bought some, “Puppy Chow,” for them.

As I watched them eat, I began to cry, their mom, had no place to go
Then, she saw, this old office chair, and placed her children there
To keep them warm, as she froze to death. She prayed, like, we all do
When you love someone, you do, what you must do, like, this…,
