Who, Am I

I am the sun ray that fights its way, through the darkest cloud of rain
I see myself, as I break through and my light reaches into my soul
I am the warmth of my own heart, I move the clouds, from my soul
I am the love, he gives to me, on a rainy day, I am myself, love is mine

I hear the thunder roar, trying to scare, that part of me, that is myself
I am the summer day, I am the spring and all that, spring flowers bring
I am not a lone, I have the power of thunder bolts, and sunshine rays
My soul has the loving waters, to make my heart bloom, I am myself

I am a soul, with a being as my heart, tells me so, I am not a lone
I feel the mist coming in from distant seas, as it falls, upon my rocky heart
I feel the world, I have never seen, I feel the love, of being free, on any shore
I am the thought of what I can be, but most of all, I feel myself, free

As lightening strikes, and a tall oak tree, falls to the ground
Flames, burn all around, I feel the warmth, of God’s love
As the forest runs, frightened into the shadows, searching for shelter
Just as I did, to find, who, am I, they were all saved, as I

So, as I hear, the world explode around me, no, I’m not a lone
I am the ray of sun light, that touches my own soul and my heart
Is secure, as I finally, learn, see, and hear, myself, I know
