So Sorry

Just wondering....
How you could ever tell me you loved me.
Just wondering....
How you could ever tell me you cared.
Just wondering....
How you could ever send me roses.
Just wondering....
How you could ever say you'll always be there.
Just wondering....
How you could ever hurt me.
Just wondering....
Why you lied.
Just wondering....
Why you ever said, "Forever"
... when all you meant was, "Good-bye."

Forgive me for leaving,
Forgive me for crying,
Forgive me for breaking my promise.

After you left,
After you being there,
After the memories we created…
I’ll never forget our memories,
I’ll never forget the way you looked at me.

My soul is coming back,
My heart is mending,
My faith is growing.
The day you left,
The time froze…
The world felt cold.
Nothing will ever replace you in my heart
I looked in your eyes
Deep in your soul
I wish you didn’t have to go
Far away from me
How much I love you so
We will meet again
Somewhere, somehow
Across the vast sky
For you will be waiting for me
Together forever we will be
I can still remember
How I felt inside
I will try not to hide
I will wait for you forever
Now it’s time to say good-bye
