One Split Second

I see you standing there, and my heart stops beating, but only for a brief moment.....

.....It's in that brief moment that it happens, it only takes one split second to realise, that, you are the one that is going to capture my heart and soul, I see the future in that moment, we meet and instantly like each other.

We fall in love, and everything is magical, we spend every waking moment making each other laugh and smile, making love through the night and spending cold wintry nights in one anothers warm embrace by a burning fire.

We're together for a year or more, then things will ultimately change, and one day I will return to find you gone, my heart will break and my soul will freeze, to which will result in my demise as I fall to the frozen, snowy ground, as my eyes pour blood from crying so much, and I lose conciousness to the point where I never awake.

It's in that moment, that one split second it happens, I see you standing there and my heart stops beating, but only for a brief moment.....

.....Then I walk away.
