Be still My Love, for I am talking
Do you hear me my love?
Do you hear the words that started from my heart,
Developed in my mind,
Build up from my lungs,
Vibrated through my tongue,
Exited through my mouth into your ears?
Do you hear the soft, but intense tone which I say I love you?
Do you hear my heart pounding as I speak?
Do you hear my soul fighting to get out to be with you,
As if I didn’t matter?
Be still….
Be still My Love, for I am crying
Do you feel my eyes fighting to hold back?
Do you feel my head lowering to conceal what is happening?
Do you feel my pain of not being able to touch you, kiss you,
Not even see you?
Do you feel my heart sobbing?
Do you feel me?
Be still….
Be still My Love, for I am praying
Do you hear the blessings I ask for you?
Do you hear the sacrifice I give for you?
Do you hear the words of wisdom that is bestowed upon me?
Do you hear the flow of my voice?
Do you hear the sobbing?
Be still….
Be still My Love, for I am writing
Do you understand the reason?
Do you understand the words?
Do you understand the formulation of them?
Do you understand their meaning?
Do you understand?
Be still….
Be still My Love, for I am done
Done being mad
Done being sad
Done being confused
Done being scared
But I’m not done with you
Be still….
Be still My Love…
Just Be Still…
