Dumb by Taylor James

i cant take being so dumb
all these people think i'm just glum,
i dont understand these things they do
because i'm so stupid
and thats so true

they think i'm smart and clever too,
but if they really knew,
how i feel, to be so dumb
they wouldn't take the piss
and make me feel like a bum

as i put pen to paper
tears are streaming from my eyes
because i long to be beter,
to get grade A's
and get the silver stars.
but i cant! because im so dumb!

they dont understand how it feels,
to be such a failure
and not to understand.

this is me,
its who i am,
fat and dumb,
should be my life plan.

Hey Taylor! This poem got to me, because honest to God in Heaven, I've shared the same feelings and had the same experiences. Sometimes when I mess up and make a mistake, I start weeping nonstop and calling myself names. Don't beat yourself up Taylor. Find something you like to do, to free your mind. You definitely aren't dumb. You are very intelligent when you put your emotions into words. Keep on doing what you do, keep on writing those poems!

Like meri said keep writing brother,you have alot of talent.my fav of yours is hackney child.
we all have our problems,I have loads,he and she over there has them also,but from what ive learnd from this site is that people care. keep it going mate.
