he didn't let her down
he had to go
he had to go...

it broke his heart knowing
that he was leaving her for good
his heart looked back
as he saw hers cry
he saw hers cry...

he looked back
as he left his wife and children
he loved.... behind
he looked back.....

it teared him up knowing
that they would be all alone
without his arms to calm her down
he knew that she would wait forever
for his return
she would wait forever....

he also knew that someday
she would be joining him on a blessed day

he looked up
he saw her tears run down her face
he caught a tear upon his lips
as she placed
her wedding band within
the pocket of his heart

she kissed him for the final time
he saw how hard it was for her to let go
in her heart their song played
he heard it too
with out a sound
she slowly walked away
walked away.....
as she held on to that
final tear in her heart

you know whats amazin'? Your pleasant comment...thank you it is soooo heart warming ..Death is....definently devastatin' and difficult..to go through....BUT... like many...i have been given that last ounce of hope.. that tiny bit of mustard seed...that someday...that hope will bear my name on it all over again.....thank you all over again....Terrie*
