This Is Where We Part...

vinebar

this is where we part
no messy good-byes
no tears to dispose of
no silent words to dispise
as you are sent on your way
I'll go on upon mine

all shall continue to
smile upon every sunrise
and every sunset
as both the sun and the moon shine

but lets get real
you know how my heart
can not say a permanent good bye

yet I know
I will not feel your touch
upon the sunrise
nor will I feel that warm embrace
as the sunsets

so can we just skip the good byes
and let my tears flow
where they need to go

it is difficult
standing next to your coffin
my knees are so weak
as so is my heart

every one is telling me
not to cry
they tell me
to let go
I keep repeating in my heart
this isn't so..

an unknown force
takes me away
when I break down and cry
and still I can not say
good bye

but i know
i am so wrong
for not saying
my last good-bye
as i continue to allow
my heart to cry
God knows
that someday
i will try..
