Angel

You were born an angel that i can see,
but was it for someone other than me,
So many times i cried late into the night,
but just the picture of you would make it all right.

Your heavenly glow so bright and so pure,
was it a trap was it a lure,
falling for you you helped pick me up,
gave me a drink from lifes cup.

No words were needed from your heavenly lips,
i raised up that cup and took a few sips,
your eyes they sparkled like stars in the night,
that out of this world smile shone so bright.

Dressed all in white, your halo aglow,
i had nothing to fear that you did show,
such a perfect pretty Angel that you became,
i was so mesmerized i forgot your name.

Was i dreaming or were you really there,
such a beautiful sight is indeed very rare,
my Angel my Sweet Dove from above,
all i can say is thankyou for your love.
