Broken Dreams

"Here are your hopes and here are your dreams"
I'd always say

Let them always come true
Everyday

You said the samething
I'd believe it was true
Until the day came when you said they were through

They'll never come true
All they are are lies
You've reached too far
You'll just fall from those skies

Left there cold and alone
Without a heart

I lay on the floor wondering were to start

All borken and shattered to pieces so tiny
I remember them silver, flowing and shining

Like the rain drop from a flower
The pink petal it dropped
It reminded me of better days

As i cut my fingers picking up the glass
I'll close my eyes and remember the past

Where eachothers dreams were too good to come true
I guess it only happens to those very few
