Your Love I Pray Will Be Mine..Someday

I let the candle burn
late into the night
in hopes of your return
to a place we have only seen
within our hearts dreams

I can see you
from a distance
with the eyes of my heart

I stretch out my arms
and sculptor what I feel
through your words

some are amazed
at the finished product they see
of the heart that shows so much clarity
I await for your love
though still a fantasy

your love
I've never touched
as strong as my heart feels

still i await through eternity
for your love to reach and touch me
and bring me back into your reality

if your love i can not have
then i ask you to set me free
and send me back
to where my lost heart was at
when you first found me

------- Author's Notes -------

love can hurt as much as it can heal..when two hearts await to touch for the first time..

Love Queen

I can imagine your house surrounded by red hearts. Hahha.... You must indeed be happy, when you want to spend the rest of your life with that special someone. Can't wait for the results! Superdacious poem!
