Dusting My Hands And Moving On
Author: Terrie*

for all the difficulties
I have faced
and shared from others lifes
for all the trials and obstacles
that overwhelmed me
to help them out
for all the storms that existed
also within my own life
I have learned that they were
the same one's that helped me endure
the life I live in today
my heart is weak
but yet my soul is very strong
other wise on my own two feet
i'd never would of been able to stand on
to carry his will out
and it was through my weakest hour
that brought my strength
other wise I would of never
called out to my Lord
for that needed lift
and ask for what my heart desires
when I felt life slammed me against
a brick wall
rolled me a couple of times
and took me for a
hellatious ride
yet everytime I felt a powerful source
lifting me up
dusting my hands and helping me move on
when I thought I was not capable
but through that touch
I found out I was very much able
to attack and face all storms
even if they were not my own that
drifted my way
when I placed my hands upon this heart of mine
and I called out the Lords name
to help me carry
and help my brothers out
with a touch of
sisterly love
