River On My Wall
10 April, 2005
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)

vinebar

I sit and gaze at the river on my wall
The silence humming in my ears
Everything is as it should be
Yet I feel, for some reason, discontent

It's like something is missing
Though everything is perfect
Like the painting on the wall
Full of color and tranquil

I know I should feel happy
I know I should enjoy the peace
But for some reason, something's missing
Ah! I know.. It's You!

mural of memories lost and found..

we all are like passing clouds we make an entrance/exit w/a storm or we quietly move on ...

Like Pieces to a Puzzle

Dreamer! Darn good poem! Searching for the missing, reaching out for the unreachable---it's like trying to find pieces to fit a complex puzzle. Like always, absolutely remarkable poem!
