The Final Kiss

Nothing but cold skin and bone,
Wandering in the dark, alone.
Scared of noises, of the shadows.
The fear rises up as the eyes close.

Teeth clenched tightly to block the screams.
Patience splitting at the seams.
Sanity escaping at too fast a pace.
Silent tears running down my face.

That's my life everyday.
From morning til night, it's always the same.
Friends and family forever scourning
My stages of eternal mourning.

Life at school is always hell
'Coz no one hears my strugling yell.
Fake smiles can't hide the pain in my eyes,
But no one sees that, they only see lies.

Lies of hapiness, lies of joy.
In their eyes I'm a happy boy.
I'll admit, some days I do forget,
But more often then not I'm at the first step.

It's getting harder to hide how I feel.
The world is becoming more surreal.
Maybe soon they'll take notice,
Maybe before I get my goodnight kiss.
