Cowboy, Rides A Rainbow

Last night, I decided I had enough, with dreams, that never come true
So, last night, I threw my saddle over a rainbow, synched, my saddle tight
Then I stepped upon a star, and jumped into the saddle, swung my heart over
Guided by the brighest moon, I'd ever seen, I dug my spurs into the rainbow

Grabbed the reins, like a rocket, we took off, God, I knew, this would be,
The ride of my heart. I started off, in the middle, where all the pain began,
Then as my Rainbow bucked, it was all my heart could do, to hold on with one hand
In the air, I'll never ride a bucking heart unless its fair, so, one hand is in the air

Through thunder clouds, and all those lightening bolts, I hold on for my heart
Never rode a rainbow before, all I see is colors of my heart, true to her
The rain begins to pour, like your letter to me, I read it last night
Now, I see, all the colors of your heart, from blue to gold, wish you rode with me

From one pot of gold, to another, hearts, seem, to chase each other
Through all the thunder storms, and dark clouds, lightening bolts
All they do, is light up my love for you and show the way, yes a rough ride

But, when they blow that whistle, I pray, you are at my side
To take the trophy for two hearts, that rode, a rainbow
Through all the storms and lightening bolts, I held on tight
Just as you, when you said, you ain't riding no rainbow
Unless my heart is behind you, together, we ride, a rainbow
