Dream The Days Away
Author: Ben Franklin

vinebar

In my garden,
away from all the lies and greed,
waiting for the sunflower I planted
to blossom with my magical seed,

In my garden,
away from all the people who are only
interested in money,
sitting here watching the bees collect their honey,

In my garden,
away from all the liars in power,
waiting for the daffodils to flower,

In my garden,
away from all the people who are mean and rude,
watching the birds hovering above,
looking for some food from their birds eye view,

In my garden,
Id love to stay,
sit here for the rest of my life
and dream the days away.
