Do What You Have To

Use me.
Use me.
Because I deserve it.

The ugly inside's not hard to find.

Abuse me.
Abuse me.
I'll be sure to pervert it.

Long ago I lost my mind.

Hurt me.
Hurt me.
I'm used to the pain.

There's a hole in my heart that's just getting bigger.

Leave me.
Leave me.
I'll dissolve in the rain.

And all that's left will be hollow and bitter.

Destroy me.
Destroy me.
You'll save me the job.

I've been dying right from the start.

Love me.
Love me.
Because I can't save myself.

And there's a soul in my shattered heart.

..

This poem is different from all the rest. It's sort of self-pitying, but at the same time it's not. It's asking for help, but then saying you'll throw it back into the helper's face. It's very contradictory, and you know that this is my favourite type of poem. :) I love this one, especially "I'll dissolve in the rain. And all that's left will be hollow and bitter". I'm a sucker for dark thoughts. :P
