pardon my soul
by paroling my heart
his love is all it thinks about
release it with a sweet kiss
a love of long ago I do miss
take it to the board
of the mighty Lord
he knows my strength
my weakness to the length
a prisoner of self have I been
erase this misery I'm in
release these tears
to cleanse my soul
release my spirit to uphold
and review my sweet memories
that control my heart
spread his touch deep in my heart
release these sweet memories...
allow me to feel every word unsaid
bring him into my dreams
as I lay here in bed
