The Reflection Of Our Love by Terrie*

enjoying my tranquil moment
as the moon catches a glimpse of me
while I lay silently
upon the cool sand
staring up at the stars
that shine upon me late at night

they reflect their love
off of the ocean's passionate waves
every one brightly
illuminating the earth

never loosing their luster as they
gain a recharge
from the morning sun
while they lay asleep

while I receive mine
with deep thoughts of you

twinkling far up above
for an eternity
in heavens clouds deep in the sky

as I lay here with thoughts of you
beneath the stars
that shine sooo brightly
late at night

my heart is sootheed
just by thinking of you

I feel the passion of the moon
as she peeks down to help me out
she too feels the emptiness
she understands what it's all about

she never has a chance
to be with the sun
she provides our nights
of her beauty glowing with romance

my thoughts catch the reflection
off of the oceans passionate waves
as I close my eyes
i feel you lying next to me
with your arms wrapped securely around me

every star shines ever so brightly
as the moon illuminates upon
the shimmering water
that pacifys my skin

heavens clouds deep into the sky
drift on by

taking my heart
for a romantic ride

as I lay here quietly
thinking of you

awhile back a friend asked me to share a tranquil happy moment i spent alone that reflected my husbands love and this is what i shared a moment back in time
