One Month Today

Dark clouds of grieve fill the sky.
Salty crystals soak this day.
Washing all of the spring colours away.
Surrounding us in sorrow,
Overflowing with pain.

Each day you are missed more and more than I can say.
Oh how I want you to come back someday.
But that will not be.
That is a wish that I fall asleep with each night.
Covered in streams of tears, I dream of that day.

You have been gone a month this very day.

hey angel, this poem is really good, i know how you feel wishing for a loved one to come back even if only for a few minutes, i sometimes wish that i colud have just a few minutes with my nan when im really stressed or depressed, but sadly that cannot be, so we have to rely on each other for comfort and support.

A Thought.....

A beautiful poem Angel despite it's sad content. Our memories of our loved ones keeps them alive within us and guiding us (hopefully) to touch other as our dearly departed touched us.

Amazing..

Your poem was amazing...even though i do not comment a lot, your poem touched me somehow. it hurts when you lose someone, they are always there with you though...they never really left. Just becuase you can't see him, does not mean he isn't there.
Angel in Tears (81.157.144.74) -- Thursday, April 28 2005, 11:43 pm

Oh wow...

...you guys! I'm kinda speechless and lil bit overwhelmed with these comments! lol :)Ing Twi Demalah, I couldn't agree with you more. The memories do keep the loved once alive, who guide us, in our life times. Shira,I feel privileged that you have commented :p it makes poetry worth while when the writer receives such beautiful comments. Yes, it is sad and painful when someone dies who is so close to you, but if you take them with you, in your heart and in your memories they will never leave. Even though I tell myself this each day, a person can't always be replaced by memories. No matter how good, beautiful and loving they might be. Having you guys helps, well at least for me :p, to get through !Thank you guys a million!

oh man

Hey AIT. Not calling you a man there when I say "oh man" in my commment title. Grandparents are the best. I only knew of one really, but I know that type of bond. Grandparents are like parents. Sorry that he passed. Sweet poem though! (Be encouraged, as you've encouraged me so many times!)

Hey girls!

I can't thank you enough! I really can’t! I didn't even understood that bond until last summer when I saw him again. I guess I will never know how close he really was to me, because I was little and have the memory of a goldfish :p all those years ago! Your comments encourage me more than anything to write! All of your comments do! Oh man! I think a tissue is in need for me now :p! Thank you....An Angel in Tears (literally)
