So Far Away

my heart feels like a desert
so plain
so dry
so far away

no water
to quench my thirst
no sunlight
to brighten my day

no moon
to shine love beams upon me
no birds
with a song

all alone
am I

no one to hold
no rainbows
to climb climb and slide down from

no clouds to ride
no breeze to whisper sweet things to me
not even a hint of a storm

to spray heavens tears upon me
or the sound of thunder
to stimulate my soul
no mucsles to make me smile
no strength to hold my head up high
no feelings to want to live

I look down where my heart should be
and all I see
Is a hole going right through me

i see the blood that drips
where my heart should be
now i remember why i feel so empty
why the only emotion that remains is

pain !
you !

ripped my heart
from my chest
when you gave away the love that was

mine!
