Porcelain

She walks with a plastered on smile,
A girl mad of porcelain.
With just one nik she will shatter to peices.
A tear painted on her cheek just below her eye.
I know you have seen her we all have.
But we look through her just someone we'll forget.

Her screams are just a low murmer in the crowd.
A tiny face buried among the rest.
Her body crashing to the ground,
Still we walk over her like we always have.

Every peice of her shattered,
Except for her eyes.....
Her deep angelic glassy eyes.
Which will watch us among these walls.
For the next porcelain girl will have the same fate.

Will we let her shatter like the last?
Or will she just be another Porcelain girl?
Who is this girl I speak of?
Its you!
Its me!
Its the girl you just made fun of today!

We are all made of Porcelain.
We all have the same plastered on smile.
The same painted on tear.
Just like the rest we will all shatter.

We live in a world made of porcelain
We are all that porcelain girl to someone....
maybe even ourselves
