You're So Cool
Author: Maranda Berkley

vinebar

the trees howl
when the wind turns cold
colors blow off
as their fingers snap
breaking away to
the cruel dry earth
but the wind are ghosts
sifting through small cracks
making whistling noises
a disguise for their laughs

Nice one!

Been in a forest when the wind blows....i heard a honk-honk, and it kept on honking....i search for the honk and found it was only the wind, making this ghostly noise....thanks for a nice poem that brought back that time in the forest alone...
