Bottled up inside,
the sadness is what i hide,
to distract the pain from you
is the reason why i do it.

i can see the pain
i bring to your eyes,
so i desperatly try to hide
my feelings deep down inside.

from today is the new me,
i will no longer try to set my self free.

the pain i cause i can no longer bear.
i see the tears falling from your eyes,
so now is the time to stop before i try.

im sorry for the hurt i cause
i just didnt know how to pause.

if i start to see
water in your eyes,
i promise i will do all that i can
to hide the pain within me
that does not hide.

I don't think you can turn these feelings off just like that, Taylor. And no matter how hard you try, you know you can't hide your feelings from us. We can always tell how you feel, even if we don't ask what's wrong.
