Scarred Angel

Like a piece of sand
in an hour glass
Humanity slowly slips
threw the cracks
Like the smoke from a teenagers face
The butt pressing its self
upon the ground
until its life ends
and the light fades out
Withered like the autumn leafs
that will wrap the grave
in which soon we will lay
Hello dear universe
I'm to incomplete to be an angel aren't I
Hello dear universe?
But yet still no reply
in the night
which their hateful screams stirred
Unheard by the world
Overheard by their words
Sharp as this glass vase
in which the ashes of my cremated heart lays
Between the dashes of its inside
my memories marinate
Piece by piece
ash by ash
and dust by dust
Dead voices echo
while body's quiver
My childish eyes crying out
Like the raindrops in the winter
Jesus open your eyes
from the inside of me
A scarred angel
branded by impurity
from the inside out
my body is misfit
for forgiveness
I'm the shattered stone
against the street
The headlights of reality
flickered in front of me
But yet I stood dazed and unable to see
before deaths tires suppressed me
