Standin' All Alone

if you ask me
I'd have to say
it is tough bein' female
you open up your heart
and your doomed
you open up your mouth
and you've lost
either a friend
or someone you love
by being honest
guess I get caught
with my foot in my mouth
many many times
I am just so tired of
tears flowing for unpleasant news
that should be good
I am so tired of bein' alone
and misunderstood
but I am the one
standin' all alone
without an umbrella
to catch my tears
so I admit i am the one at fault
so don't ask me again
after all I am just a woman
whom shares her heart
as a child shares her love
and i don't think i have an ounce of love left in me

hi, its also hard being male, when i open up my heart i also get hurt. its just a matter of life. when people open up their heart they get hurt sometimes. but you will always have love in you even though you may think different i know from experience that you do and always will. never give up the search for true love. great poem as always
