The Coffin, My Favorite Place

the coffin
its my favorite place
small
enclosed
dark
cold
all those emotions brought to life
it's peaceful
nobody bothers me
in the coffin i can sleep for eternity
and never have to wake up
in the coffin i am safe from all the troubles of daily life
i never have to worry about anything
in the coffin i make friends everyday
the bugs and the rain have become my friends
the bugs eat away my cancerous body
the rain washes away my rotting flesh
in the coffin i feel no pain
i feel no sadness
i am numb to all feelings
i am finally at peace
no longer living a life of hell
i have found my place
in my coffin i am finally able to rest my worn and torn body
the coffin
it's my favorite place
it's where my dreams come alive
where i am never forgotten
where my home is
it's my refuge
from the storm of life
so peaceful
so quiet
so comforting
the coffin,my favorite place
