The Way Life Is Supposed To Be

As I sat watchin drop after drop you sat and watched as well
How much deeper I would go, only time could tell
You didn't try to stop me neither did anyone else
But how blind can you be? Can't you see that I need help?
Tonight I'll finally put an end to this
Sit in my corner and slit my wrists
Then watch as they cry tears of blood for death
I'll watch with every last heart beat and each gasp of breath
No one ever knew before but now I'm sure they will
I'll sit there in anticipation as time seems to stand still
Watch drops of red stain the cold hard white floor
Then continuously bleed until my body can take no more
Don't be afraid for me, I'll finally be free tonight
But, before I leave, in my own blood I shall write:
"This marks the beginning of a mystery, but the end of a life
A permanent solution to temporary strife
I'm sorry for being so weak but this is what you made of me
Mom/Dad, This is not the way life is supposed to be"
