A Killer's Joy

When will I wake up?
When will this horrid dream end?
Being chased, fear pouring out of me
Sweating bullets, screaming
The killer is getting near
Find a way to hide, quick!
He's got me, there's no telling what he'll do
A knife in his black gloved hand
I'm shaking, my heart is racing
I yell, "No!"
The knife hits me, pierces through my skin
The pain excruciating
I'm bleeding now, my breaths are heavy
Crying, the tears running down my face
It's too late, everything is fast, blurry
Another stab
No help anywhere
Noone to save me, can I be saved?
Is it the end, why me?
I can't tell who it is
His face seems familiar, yet different
I'm covered in blood now, weak
Am I dead?
Being dragged, slaughtered
There's no need to fight, useless
No state of mind
Where's he bringing me?
Is this my backyard?
Another stab
When will I wake up?
When will this horrid dream end?

this reminds me of something...

In 1964, 28 year-old Kitty Genovese was repeatedly stabbed to death outside her home in Queens, New York City, by Winston Moseley, then 29, while 38 people witnessed it, were afraid, and did nothing to help her... Moseley is now 73 and has been denided parole thirteen times, as he is still a danger to others and shows no remorse for his crime... hopefully, he will die in prison.
