Father can you hear me?
Where have you gone?
I can’t find you anywhere,
Have you already moved on?

Talk to me, I’m begging you,
I must hear your voice again,
It makes me feel okay with this,
Please don’t let this be the end,
Father can you hear me?

I don’t know you yet at all,
I’ve not known enough of you,
And now you won’t talk to me,
What is your daughter to do?
Father can you hear me?

What more can I do now?
You don’t hear me anymore,
I always sit and talk to you,
Things are not like before,
Father can you hear me?

I need to hear your voice,
I need it to hold on to,
What of you do I have left?
You can’t even say I love you?
Father can you hear me?

I didn’t get to say goodbye,
Please give me just one word,
You don’t talk to me anymore,
Not one word of you I’ve heard,
Father why can’t you hear me?

Sad read
It's depressing, I know. A family member of mine died about 5 or 6 years ago and I still expect him to be at home carrying on with his daily activities. I guess it'll take a while before it hits me, that he's gone on. Trina, nice dedication in honor of your father. Please, continue writing girl, you're just that good!
