I Breath I Your Love

God defined my life
more clearly last night

my heart Laced with divine messages,
from the man that i love
sometimes presented themselves
like a letter that i never recieved

far away in another state
is where my true love is
i grasped the thought of his presence
whenever i cain

and breath in his love
upon every new day
just as often as i take him to sleep
in my heart every night
i always keep him close to my side

finally i allow my heart and soul
to slow down and sit down.
to pray

in the midst of the storm
when i often felt all alone
when i forget that God is but a heartbeat away
dark emptiness screams at me
from the unwritten pages of my life .

a single tear releases and trickles down my cheek.
finally reachin' my chin,

I placed my hand gently over my heart
i'd open my heart a little bit wider
for God to place
the dreams becoming ao real
he wants me to see
that he carefully selected
just for me

i finally admitted to myself
that i found happiness all over again
after God placed you in my life. . .

My life dramatically altered - forever.
in all good respects
a chance at happiness once more
when i opened up my heart to let you in
