Open Doors

Who are all of the people
Behind all of these doors
You've tiptoed around their lives
And they've avoided yours
Nothing more than shadows
Past the curtains
In the dark
When I catch a glimpse
I wonder
What they're feeling
Who they are...
Could it be a stranger?
Who has been here all along
Living behind curtains
For twenty years too long

Welcome Back

I have missed your writing. It always makes me think. The best thing about this poem is that it could mean so many things to different people. Hope to read more new poems by you soon!

I am still alive!

Thanks Tarna, I appreciate that you remember my poems after all this time..........I was taking some time off, had nothing left to say I guess. But I am slowly getting back into the swing of things. Talk to you soon!
