I Set Myself Free
As love came knocking at my door,
I opened my heart and looked deep inside.
There I found an unfamiliar face,
for true love had never beckoned me before.
Awkwardly I tried to run from this love,
for I knew not what was in store.
Feeling like a castaway lost out at sea
as I sailed away to what may or may not be.
Again loves triangle is leaving me
with feeling of not being so free.
For your hold on me tightened around my neck,
like a noose before I was to be hanged.
Why now must love feel this way,
stiffling and taking the breath from my body.
I liked feeling carefree and swept away,
wrong or right I set myself free.

Running from love, for fear of it not lasting very long. Love always finds us one way or another. Well, you made your choice and the decision that was best for you by setting yourself free. Excellent again Lady J!
