Dad you are my number one,
in my heart you shine like the sun.
You are with me each and everyday,
as your love come through in every way.

Rough at times you may have been,
but your loving hands I felt back then.
As a child your love was strong,
with me always where it belonged.

I've held you close all these years,
too watch your heartache bring me to tears.
Losing Mom made you so sad,
watching you now hurts me Dad.

Just know we are here for you now,
that is my one and only solemn vow.
I know Mom's been gone so long,
but your love for her is still so very strong.

I wish I could take away all the pain inside,
all this pain you try to hide.
Let you live your life through,
never ever too be blue.

Dad we love you more than you will ever know,
I hope our love for you does show.
I hope today was good for you,
I know without Mom it's hard to do.

A wonderful father you've always been,
and also here as our friend.
I know life's been so hard on you,
but know we'll love you our lives through.

Happy Fathers Day Dad....We love you with all our hearts.....

Wonderful tribute to your father. It's good to have a living father, because there will never be another father like our first father. (If the father is good, I mean) LOL! Purrty poem Joyce!
