Jimmy Now Soars

Jimmy now soars the heavens high
with the Lord right by his side.
Gone from this earth so full of pain
now the Lords blessing they do rein.
He soars the heaven with wings of gold
we'll miss him here no longer to hold.
But deep inside we know he's at peace
for all his pain the Lord did ease.
Loved he was from us all
but now for Jimmy the Angels call.
He will now soar on his white cloud
with the Lord by his side standing so proud.
We will miss him on earth every single day
until we join him in heaven too stay.
Today we have to let him go
the hardest thing in life I know
But Jimmy soar the heavens high
as now we say our last good bye.

I was at work tonight and a girl at work ask me to write a poem to have read at her Uncles funeral tomorrow...boy was I put on the spot....But she said her mother ask her to write one or find a special one to be read for her...so this is what I wrote for her and her mother....I didn't know him so it was very hard..... |
