The Haunting White Ghost

white peace
laying in lines across your mirror
with a razor and a straw resting in the background
like contributed pieces to a puzzle
eliminating any pain or fear
it's a puzzle that
everybody thinks they can avoid and easily solve
not realizing the true impact
until you hit rock bottom & your life seems to dissolve

pupils blown up to the size of a dime when you are through
gibberish "meaningful conversations" and thrills
the highest highs give you something to hold onto
the lowest gut feeling when coming down kills
and it leaves me wondering
how you got so damaged
and how can we get you to resist
this haunting white ghost
it's possessed everything you got
and now you don't truly even exist

You're a good friend

It's hard to watch someone you love, destroy themselves; harder to stand by and know there is little you can do. Until your friend comes to realize that he/she needs help, all you can really do is pray, and let go.....and be there when they need you. I'll pray for you, because this is hurting you.

It's just weird because we all have done drugs (my friends and me) but this is the first time it's ever got this out of control. I don't even know my friend anymore and everything is so different.

Thanks for your comment and your prayer because they are really needed right now.
