A World That's Turned It's Back On Me

It's when everybody you know
turns into the audience
that sits back relaxed watching your demons grow
and all that's left of you is a fading existance
it's when all your friends
do a shot in the name
of the extremities eating away at your soul
Yeah this one's to you ... the biggest fool
it's when you pray to a God
you're not even sure exists these days
it's when the people you turn to for help
tell you that it's just a phase
It's the feelings you face when you lose your best friend
to a drug that you've done and do
and you can't control the shaking of your body or start to mend
or control the thoughts of ending your life that jab at you
because you're living in a world has turned it's back on you.
