It Is Not True

It is not true
The accusations you make
The good you take
Away from me
Making it harder to believe
In a society where everything
Is either right or wrong
Where everyone knows the words
To the same ole' song

And old friends should not be
forgotten and dreams are a part
of our untouched heart
Putting back the pieces again
Becomes something like a workable
Puzzle until our decisions begin
To manifest themselves in the
Rays of the sunlight shining through a cloud
And trumpets playing "Glory" to the crowd
At the days end, I fall to my knees to bless
The One Who Made me
Thanking Him for the Joy
Admist the mess
