Judgment
27 August, 2006
Author: Mark Spencer

vinebar

Indeed it’s true, I fit no mold,
I face the dragon, strong and bold.
I stand upon the battlefield,
My Savior is my mighty shield.

For God has many enemies,
Who hide behind their homilies,
They take the guise of acolyte,
And judge as if it is their right.

But there will come a Judgment Day
When Jesus Christ will have His say.
And those whose judgment never budged,
Will face their fate as they have judged.

And through the words He’s given me,
Let all these earthly judges see,
Lest His warning arrive too late,
And darkness fall upon their fate.

So hear ye what has been foretold,
By prudent words, divinely bold.
For those who hear, yet disobey,
Have no defense on Judgment Day.

You nailed it.

What more can I say. You said it in twenty beautiful lines.
