I've never been alone, cuz God is on my side
He helps me to be brave, so never do I hide
When I'm lost and don't know what to say
All I do is cry
And when I am done, And my eyes are dry,
I pray and pray with all my might
That God helps me make it through one more night
God, I say, you are so grand!
Thankyou for your love and helping me to understand
That I need to be patient, cuz soon enough
All the pain will be gone, but never the love

It's true that we need to turn to God for help he is ready to give if we but ask. That last line, "All the pain will be gone, but never the love" is Sooooo good an ending, too.
