No Strings Attached

Gave you a space in my heart.
to stay, to rest and to enjoy,
but you tore it into parts,
to look for freedom.

commitment is a big word to say,
at a start of a young relationship,
But hanging on to test the waters,
of time, would be better for any ship.

As my torn body lay down,
You scrambled away but fell down,
Hurt and bleeding,lying on mud,
This is where baby, you belong.

You said 'No strings attached',
But it is the string that tripped you,
As you were losing blood fast,
I didn't want to see you die hard.

I ripped my tools and started the transfusion,
Same blood of love flows in our veins,
Closing down on your wounds,
I transferred all my 'red' onto yours.

Didn't want to live any more honey,
cause I know you aren't there,
so let my love for you live within you,
Though you still meant 'No strings Attached'.

------- Author's Notes -------

We started off saying we will part in 3 months.I proved all wrong for her so she wouldn't feel the love and move away, instead I started loving her with my heart.I do know we had nothing in common but still it is the heart that loved that couldn't understand. Worst part is I see everyday in my life.I'm in a terrible situation but it feels she has taken it and hopped on with her life.Still trying to find my destiny.:-(
